Counseling

Interspiritual counseling and companioning is what used to be referred to as spiritual direction or pastoral counseling.

It can take place one-on-one or in groups and may be problem-focused or focused on the individual’s relationship with the Divine. By companioning a person on their spiritual journey, a well-trained practitioner of Spiritual Counseling will hold sacred space for the counselee, providing them with the support they need to make progress on their journey.

Spiritual counseling is not psychotherapy. It is, instead, a form of spiritual coaching which allows you to go deeper into your authentic self. It may provide you with the tools for you alone to solve a specific problem, or give you the opportunity to grow spiritually, or to find your spiritual center.

Rev. Chris can work with you to arrange for spiritual counseling on a monthly or weekly basis. Sessions run for one hour and are held via Zoom. Fees are based on a sliding scale.
