Funerals
Funeral services and memorials, especially in the age of Covid, may be planned to occur simultaneously in-person and remotely via Zoom.
Consultation with the family and friends of the loved one is key. Invoking the presence of the Divine, celebrating the life of a recently passed loved one, and guiding the spirit of the beloved to a final resting place, are all at the center of these services.
Rev. Chris can work with you, local funeral directors, and faith community leaders, to find appropriate venues for the service.
The presence of the deceased’s body or ashes may be accommodated, but neither is necessary to conduct a funeral or a memorial. Funerals may be held within the week of a death. Memorials may be planned up to a year afterward.
